Court nullifies Benue Rep-elect’s election, orders police to prosecute him

A Federal High Court sitting in Abuja has ordered INEC to immediately nullify the election of Benue politician, Christian Abah after allegations of certificate forgery leveled against him by his political rival, Mr. Hassan Saleh, was established to be true by the court.

Christian Abah was elected in the just concluded general election to represent the Ado/Okpokwu/Ogbadibo Federal ‎Constituency in the forthcoming 8th National Assembly.

In his judgement, the presiding judge, Justice Adeniyi Ademola said investigations so far carried out by the court showed that Chris Ada presented a forged Ordinary National Diploma certificate in Accountancy he said he obtained from the Federal Polytechnic, Mubi, in 1985.

According to the judge, an earlier judgment of the National/State Assembly Election Petition Tribunal ‎sitting in Makurdi delivered on September 6, 2011, and a letter by the Registrar of the polytechnic, Mr. Suleiman Buba, proved that the certificate presented by Abah to INEC was forged.

Justice Ademola declared his election invalid and stated that all votes accrued by him during the election was invalid as well. His rival, Hassan Saleh who came second during the election was declared winner of the election by the court. Justice Ademola ordered the Inspector-General of Police, Mr. Solomon Arase, to immediately commence prosecution of Abah for forgery and perjury.

Louis van Gaal speech: Manchester United fans' reactions

Goodness knows what Van Gaal will be like if he wins the league with United
Goodness knows what Van Gaal will be like if he wins the league with United
Louis van Gaal's speech started sombrely but ended with the Manchester United manager urging the crowd to applaud a female saxophonist.
Van Gaal's eight-minute oration was, perhaps, fuelled by a bottle of Rioja, which one of his predecessors would have approved of.
And, judging by the reaction of United supporters - and even some opposition fans - the Dutchman's popularity in England has soared.
Yes, Van Gaal's speech included another boast of United's inconsequential possession stats at Chelsea, but he promised United supporters they were 'very close' to the Premier League champions, despite the 15-point chasm.
United might have experienced a trophyless season yet in Van Gaal they have a manager the supporters appear to be proud of. His Old Trafford rallying cry appears to have won over the sceptics, and the odd member of the enemy...

Manchester United's 2015 end of season awards winners - David de Gea wins double award

Louis van Gaal‘s amazing speech at the end of Manchester United’s annual awards might have taken the headline but let’s not forget what the whole night was about.
David de Gea walked away with the Players’ and Fans’ Player of the Year awards for the second year in succession and deservedly so.
For the last two years, De Gea has been Man United’s stand-out performer and this season in particular he has been individually responsible for so many points on route to securing a top four spot.
Louis van Gaal said he was very proud of De Gea when presenting the award and so far the fans because in the four years he has been at the club, he has grown into one of the world’s best goalkeepers.

Zimbawean woman sues ex $15k for taking her virginity, getting her pregnant and dumping her

A pregnant Zimbawean woman identified as Chido Fortune Mutonhori has sued her fiancee Tafadzwa Hwehwe (pictured above) for $15,000 for breaking her virginity, getting her pregnant and then dumping her for another woman.

According to Zimbabwean website Chronicle.co.zw, Chido, through her lawyers, filed a $15,000 suit this week at the Bulawayo high court in Zimbabwe in which she stated in court papers that her ex boyfriend had broken his promise of getting married to her while they were dating...
'after deflowering and impregnating me, Hwehwe has taken away my pride as a woman and left me embarrassed and humiliated before my own people. He will visit me in Harare during which we would have sexual intercourse and I’m now pregnant and expecting his baby. However, in March 2015, I discovered that Hwehwe has been associating with another woman...fathering a child with her”- she wrote.
She stated in court papers that she was suing him for "seduction damages" as his action has reduced her chances of having a normal future marriage .
"Wherefore plaintiff prays for payment of $10,000 in seduction damages for the period between January 2013 and March 2014 … Plaintiff claims payment of $5,000 in damages for breach of promise to marry her and the cost of suit on a higher scale,” the court paper read.

Dear LIB readers: My husband said he can't go for more than a month without sex

From a female LIB reader
During a discussion with his friends last night, my husband said he can't go more than a month without sex, that he has never done it in his life. I'm not sure if I was supposed to hear that, but I did. I'm worried about this statement because I gave birth just five months ago and for about three plus months, from when I was seven months pregnant till about 6 weeks after I gave birth I didn't have sex with him. So does it mean he cheated in this period? Should I confront him about this? I've not been able to stop thinking about it since he said it
