Manchester United striker Radamel Falcao was literally carried into training today as his new team mates appeared to make light of his current injury situation.
Falcao started training with United again on Sunday after the team's victory at Arsenal and could be involved this weekend against Hull City or more likely on Tuesday night when Stoke City come to Old Trafford.
'El Tigre' was spotted being carried on to the training field by Anderson and Ander Herrera but there's no need for concern from United supporters as Falcao looked relaxed, laughing and joking with team mates before the session started.
The excitement around Falcao's deadline day move to Old Trafford still hasn't simmered, largely due to the fact supporters have been denied a regular chance to see the Colombian in action due to injury.
The 28-year old scored his only goal for the club against Everton last month but hasn't appeared since the 2-2 draw against West Brom in the next match.
Manager Louis van Gaal has been quick to reassure fans that his current injury is totally unrelated to the serious knee injury that meant Falcao missed the remainder of last season's Ligue 1 campaign and the 2014 World Cup in Brazil.
With Robin van Persie woefully out of form at the moment, Falcao's return this weekend would be a huge psychological boost on the field and also a boost to the supporters yearning to see him score on the Old Trafford pitch on a regular basis.
