Manchester United midfielder Darren Fletcher could be on his way out of Old Trafford in January, with Hull City reportedly leading the race to secure his signature.
According to the Daily Mail, the 30-year-old is being lined up by Tigers boss Steve Bruce after falling out of first-team favour with the Premier League giants.
Fletcher has played less than 30 minutes of competitive action since August, despite being named the club's vice-captain by Louis van Gaal in the summer and starting each of the Red Devils' first three games.
Having entered the final 12 months of his £80,000-a-week contract, the Scotland international appears to be facing an increasingly uncertain future at Manchester United, even after featuring as a late substitute in last weekend's 2-1 victory over Arsenal at the Emirates.
Although Fletcher remains optimistic about being offered a one-year extension there's now a genuine chance of him moving to the KC Stadium when the transfer window reopens at the turn of the year.
