So not only is the new Sherlock special some sort of old timey throwback, but now his bloody arm is off, too?!
BBC One did a little teasing today when they shared pics from the upcoming Sherlockspecial, including a script cover. However, controversy arose when they removedBenedict Cumberbatch's ability to throw an arm around his old pal.
We probably can't expect an entire episode sans arm, as they later showed it successfully reattached without a Photoshop fail:

But it's too late, BBC One! The Internet's already having a field day. Crazy episode ideas and conspiracy theories abound when Twitter is involved:
Do you think if it is a Victorian episode then Sherlock and John will walk together arm in arm down the street? Please let this happen.

Oh look! Someone has removed Sherlock's ring finger and entire arm! Dr. Watson must be furious! He looks a bit mad...

Glad to see them and Sherlock's shoulder must be a photoshop accident - but why on earth is Dr Watson wearing Wendy? pic.twitter.com/mtVweUGh8n
