Manchester United midfielder Anderson has not made many headlines for his contribution on the pitch in recent times, but the Brazilian has surprised off it, showing up to training with a new hairstyle.
Anderson was pictured alongside Radamel Falcao with a shaved bleach blond hairdo, perhaps in an attempt to get manager Louis van Gaal’s attention.
The former FC Porto player arrived at Old Trafford with a huge reputation but he has flattered to deceive for far too long and with his current contract expiring in the summer it appears his time at United is coming to an end.
Van Gaal recently questioned Anderson’s fitness and having made just two appearances for the club this season the future does not look as bright as his new haircut.
That said, he is still only 26 and a change of scene could see him fulfil some of the potential that led former United manager Sir Alex Ferguson to once compare him to Paul Scholes.
