Ashley Young declares himself fit to play Liverpool

Ashley Young declares himself fit to play Liverpool
Ashley Young has shrugged off any hint that he might be injured for Manchester United's game against Liverpool this weekend and declared himself fit.
The 29-year-old looked in some discomfort after United's 2-1 victory over Southampton on Monday leading to some concerns he may be forced to miss Liverpool on Sunday.
Although Young admits he does feel a bit sore, he is confident he'll be available for selection: "I'm a little bit sore. You have these little knocks and bruises but dust yourself off and away you go again.”

In Luke Shaw's absence, Young has stepped in at left-back and recaptured some of his pre-season form which was fantastic. His final ball might still be lacking but given that he is playing in a complete unnatural position, Young has done very well to fill a gap Louis van Gaal needed filled.
Young will have a tough game on Sunday up against Raheem Sterling given how agile and quick the Liverpool winger is, so United fans will be hoping Young can continue to improve on his solid recent form.
