Jesse Lingard spotted back at Old Trafford

Jesse Lingard spotted back at Old Trafford
Forgotten man Jesse Lingard was spotted at Old Trafford on Tuesday night as he watched his team mates defeat Stoke City.
Lingard was sat in the Director's Box with the likes of Wayne Rooney and has been out of action since the opening game of the season when picked up an injury in the first half.
It was a huge blow for the young star given Louis van Gaal's faith to play him as a right wing-back when he is more accustomed to a central role.

Lingard impressed on loan at Birmingham last season and performed well on United's pre-season tour but even supporters were surprised to see him in the line-up despite the injury list that had increased over the summer.
There were no signs at the time that the injury would keep him out for so long and United supporters will hope he is back to full fitness soon and can fulfil his potential at the club.
It's a tough position for the midfielder to be in, he'll be confident he'll get his chances given the faith van Gaal has put in fellow youngsters such as Tyler Blackett, Patrick McNair and James Wilson but unlike those mentioned, Lingard hasn't had the chance to impress his new boss this season.
The England U21 international has plenty of promise and was expected to break into the team last season ahead of Adnan Januzaj but a lack of action and a continuous recruitment programme with has seen van Gaal spend over £150m already in his time at Old Trafford makes life difficult for Lingard.
But if the youngster shows his talent in training, the proof is there already that van Gaal will give chances to those who impress him no matter their name or reputation.
